- Make sure the printer is turned on.
- Make sure the printer is loaded with the correct paper.
- Make sure the printer is securely attached to the parent device.
- Turn the printer off and unplug the power for 2 minutes. Then plug the printer back in and turn it back on.
- Reboot the software on the terminal the printer is hooked up to.
- This can be done by touching “Terminate System” from the manager menu and then touching “Relaunch” on the onePOS launcher window.
- If the printer still does not work, you can redirect the items to a nearby printer by:
- 1. Touch “Control Printers” from the manager menu
- 2. Touch the printer that is not working.
- 3. Touch the printer you wish to print from.
- 4. Confirm where you want to redirect the printed items to by pressing “OK”
- 5. Press “Done” in the bottom right corner.
When the printer is functional again
- To change the printer setup FROM being redirected to another printer TO printing normally again, touch “control printers” from the manager menu.
- Touch the printer you wish to return to normal operation.
- Touch “Normal Operation” at the bottom of the screen.
- Touch “OK” to confirm returning it to normal operation
- Touch “Done” to save and exit.
